Anyone have an idea what’s this all about? I am guessing that it has to do with Mongolia.

  1. Yes it’s former Ivanhoe, now called Turqouise Hill with main asset being the gold-copper mine in Oyu Tolgoi in Mongolia. Do note that Robert Friedland has resigned (rumor: ousted?) as CEO which may explain the name change to reflect the greater influence of major shareholder Rio Tinto.

    The “mentor” link is via Robert’s uncle’s apple orchard called “All One Farm” which supposed to have given Steve Jobs the inspiration for his company’s name. They were both from Reed College
