Hi Travis,

Actually I have not subscribed to the Monstrous newsletter. Is that his real name? However, I have eaten at California Jolibee outlets and been to the Philippines.

Did you know that this stock was heavily teased by someone (can’t remember who) ten or more years ago? They used the McDonalds comparison way back then. I guess it never gets old.

The chain expansion has been very slow in the USA. All California stores are in areas with a heavy Filipino population. I think the food is good, but not overwhelming and the CA stores seem to have higher prices than their competetors.

I easily found out who they were 10 years ago because I know so many Filipinos and I did a little internet investigation. I didn’t buy then and don’t expect to buy now.
