Iโve seen this publication recently advertised, its touting 67% returns. Is this another exaggerated claim? I realize that these ads are mostly just sales tactics, but do any publications deliver on these outrageous return claims? I subscribe to SA/RB and recently The Dividend Hunter. Iโm not more than 300% up as SA/RB claims, more like 9%. The Dividend Hunter is new to me as of yesterday since the $7 Fourth of July sale. Iโm more interested in knowledge of a publication that delivers real returns.
Thatโs part of the reason I LOVE this website of course. (Thanks to Travis and the mighty Thinkolator!)
I don’t believe he will claim 67% right away, I believe it woud be with automatic dividend reinvestment, as in a DRIP program, and then after a couple of decades it will be maybe 67% of your original investment, not the average cost, or ACB, but 67% of the original amount you paid. Quite a bit misleading, but that is the only way I can see it working. Probably someone should check with the Gumshoe about that.
I just received an email for this service by Robert Napier…is this the same service started by Mr. Conrad several years ago? Can anyone tell me if Mr. Napier’s approach is the same as Mr. Conrad’s? I read a few reviews and some of them seem to think that this service is not as good as it once was……thanks in advance for any responses
I’ve been subscribing to this since the mid 2000s, and, with a couple of exceptions, their picks have returned 12 – 17% annually (vs S&P 9%). Some of the more recent picks have done better – high 20%s this year, and there have been a couple of duds, but overall, it’s steady, unexciting, solid performance. For a conservative investment in the long term, I can live with 12% annual returns.

What is the real yield you guys are getting. How long have you been buying recommendations of Utility Forecaster
jack, I didn’t see your comment until after I had posted one , a guess at how the high % is clamed. I posted on August 11/21, as a reply to “wyld2006” who made his comment on July 4th 2019. I believe it to be an fairly accurate explanation, but maybe check with the Gumshoe.
I just had to peer at This Fantastic Offer. Get 67% Dividends Yearly on Safe Utilities for $39 @ year– That in itself sounds like is a Deceptive offer (although, a few times, he mentions he’s held some Ut’s for 30 years), eh? lol
Indeed, long periods of time create dramatic compounding โ thereโs no real shortcut, Samdy.
