Hi Ben, took a quick look at the website. Obviously there is a pressing need for this kind of technology on many places around the world.

I have not followed the postings on Cardinal and the question may have been answered. But the main question is…at what point, and how, is this company going to make any money ? It is basically providing a needed service for communities that cannot afford it. If there are major charitable organizations or governments that are going to pay for the installations, that is a plausible path to profitability.

If the Indian or Chinese or Congolese government or or Bill Gates UNESCO lines up to pay good prices for the Red Bird system, well and good. Otherwise maybe local Rotary Clubs will raise money to donate units to communities that need it. Nothing wrong with that, I am not being snide or dismissive; the product is at least as important as medicine for millions of underpriveledged people. ANd I believe more good would come of this than donation of the hundreds of millions of dollars to The American Cancer Society and two hundred other feel-good charities that basically do nothing to accomplish their stated missions. But the company is losing money at a horrific rate and is not being presented as a charity.

The secondary question, again likely to have been answered, is what intellectual property protection do they have for their process ?

AGain I apologize for not being up to speed. If these questions re answered within the site or on press releases, don’t bother to answer, I will look more deeply into it myself by the weekend.

Best

The secondary question

Hendrix asks a good question here. Do you have any idea what the profit % is on their products?
