$FYI – Energy Metals Expert Chris Berry Gives An Industry Update With Matt Bohlsen Of Trend Investing
https://seekingalpha.com/article/4203443-energy-metals-expert-chris-berry-gives-industry-update-matt-bohlsen-trend-investing?isDirectRoadblock=true
I’ve just started reading and decide to post because of this paragraph. “There really is no way to mince words: sentiment is terrible. I think much of this has to do with the fact that 2016 and 2017 were terrific years with respect to share price returns, and while significant capital has flowed into the sector, much more is still needed. The relationships I have cultivated in this sector have given me a unique perspective on true demand inside and outside China and how I see the supply chain both growing and solidifying in the coming years. I see a few general trends right now which have really helped to solidify my bullish thesis on this sector.”

Here is another update on Graphene. Sorry to say that I don’t have much time to “keep on diggin”, especially with the market playing “pong”….. but I have remained faithful to my earlier convictions but am holding onto any further purchases of anything for a while.
My current interests are in Graphene and Graphite, and the marriage of Carbon Nono-tubes. Unfortunately, I do not have links for anything regarding discovery of knowledge, and have just scratched the surface. I am not buying anything here either, due to my fear of possible market falling.
Hope that this brings a little new look into something we have glanced at before.
I have made my decisions regarding the Metals, am sticking with them, and looking elsewhere.
I wonder if this will hurt the vanadium sector as competition for steel rebar reinforcement.
I doubt it for the short term, as there needs to be a lot of testing and we are still a while away from establishing a quick build for Graphene . They have been using the rebar infused with vanadium for a while.
But what is short term? months…years….in the market, short term seems to be by the day.
We’ll still need that Vanadium. Our problem here is that there are quite a few companies rushing to build their mines and they will allegedly hit the processing stage at the “same time”, meaning the early bird will get the contracts and $ return.

“Most recently, he held the title of Chilean Mining Industry Undersecretary, where he was responsible for internal administration within the government body while coordinating with public stakeholders to develop and implement new policies. During his tenure, Mr. Schnake prepared and negotiated numerous government regulations and amendments for the mining sector, including the Special Lithium Operation Contract signed between the government of Chile and Salar de Maricunga SpA, a subsidiary of Codelco, to develop a lithium exploitation project.”
Looks like he has the credentials. MGX should be able to fast track to production.

$FYI – A Look At The Lithium Clay Projects
by Matt Bohlsen – Includes: ARXRF, BCLMF, CYDVF, LAC, NLIOF, PLUUF, TSL
Summary
Traditionally, the process of extracting lithium from clay was considered too hard and too expensive; however, this appears to be changing now.
Lithium clay projects are showing potential with impressive PFS results, low operating expenses, and very fast lithium extraction methods.

$MGXMF – MGX Minerals Announces Assays Up To 580ppm Lithium at Kibby Basin, Nevada Lithium Project
“The borehole targeted the southern portion of a large robust MT conductor, which may represent saturated sediments containing lithium-rich brines. The hole drilled through lacustrine playa sediments- dominantly calcareous clays and silts grading to lithified claystone’s and siltstones at depth. Sand and gravel zones, which may represent brine-bearing aquifers, were encountered at depths of 150-170 feet, 210-230 feet, 260-300 feet, and 900-920 feet, where a potentially major aquifer in a cobble gravel was intersected. Analysis suggests that a hard chert-cobble layer at a depth of 90-915 feet separates soft red-brown coloured oxidized mud-silt-(minor gravel) playa sediments from underlying grey-green reduced clay-silt-(minor sand) sediments and minor volcanic ash layers. The reducing-oxidizing boundary is well-defined by a chert-cobble layer and Li values increase significantly in the reduced layer below it.”
