That’s very likely a repeat of Mizrahi’s long-running pitch for QuantumScape (QS), which was the real darling of the “next gen batteries” world in 2020 and 2021, when they first came public, with hopes for the first real breakthrough in solid state (or almost solid) batteries and a very secretive and charismatic founder. Huge disappointment since then, this R&D company was bid up to almost a $50 billion valuation at the peak and is now below $5 billion, with revenue still at least a few years away (most likely).
Have not looked at it in quite a long time, so I don’t know what the current partnership deals or development timeline look like, but it serves as a pretty good poster child for the danger of speculative fervor in emerging technologies.
