I subscribe to Stansberry Alliance which includes almost all of their letters. I don’t have time to read all of them but browse through issues that appeal to me. I think they are in general very educational and interesting to read. The China information and recommendations are right on and have done very well.
I have made money with all of the Stansberry products, but Steve’s China insights have returned about 30% over the last year plus. The True Wealth ones are also excellent.
S. is ok as long as he pushes his own stuff, but he likes names. For a while he was pushing Stanley Gibbons for stamps (he was on their Board), but he knows nothing about stamps. If you are a serious stamp collector S.G, is overpriced and their stamp investment scheme is dubious at best.
He also likes the Churchouse guys. He recommended Japanese REITS (following P. Churchouse) on which I lost a bundle. Now they are pushing cryptos and Hong Kong real estate. Buyer beware.
Churchouse and Kim Iskyanโs publications merged with Stansberry a year or two ago. (Iskyan also did a short-lived international investing letter for Stansberry a few years ago)
I too am a long time Alliance member. Steve and the doctor who authors the Retirement millionaire are right on, sometimes contradicting the founder Stansberry. Done well with Steve’s reco.
I waited two long to join China Opportunities. Those who bought in 2016 made money. I bought in 2018 and my stocks are down ( KDA,, CAF, FXI, KWEB, etc.) thanks for listening. ANDY
Hey Andy, in the same boat, long time subscriber of Steve but didn’t jump on it in 2016 either, was up after I bought after the Feb slide which I thought was the low, until this tariff BS put them in negative territory. I think we should be ok as market should recover here shortly and 6-12 months away from next major crash as per the Stansberry group…I do think they even recommended holding thru next major downturn, but I’ll be selling everything and playing the short side of the market…
Timing is everything. When first recommended, most went up. Then there was the China {Trump?) correction from which they have been recovering. Oh and the names you mentioned are funds or ETFs. They are not stocks. KDA?
hey guys any one knows what 11 stock steve is recommending to buy on the china nasdaq as per his $1500 subscription, thanks
Also an Alliance member. I bought nine of his China recommendations, actually NPSNY is South African but owns 40% of Tencent Holding. They have done well and expect more upside in the future. I mostly listen to Dr. Eifrig and Steve Sjuggerud. But read most of Stansberry’s letters when I have time. Sometimes the volume of material becomes overwhelming but they are all interesting to read and I find them for the most part very educational.
I also wasn’t lucky with Steveโs China insights, refund requested!
True Wealth Opportunities China now has an addition to that service, The Next China Growth portfolio by Brian Tycangco. (Emerging market blue chips). Any ideas on the three secret stocks? One is a gaming company, one a bank, and one a mobile phone company in a country just getting cell phones (plus pays a 4% dividened).
Thanks.
Stansberry Alliance member. Their newsletters are well written and very informative. I have made a lot of money on many of their recommendations. I am very happy with my investment. Most of their writers are excellent but sometimes long winded so to speak. Overall excellent service and writers. I have done well on Chia stocks.
